White Resin Formlabs Alpha Resin for 3D Printing Models and Parts

Formlabs Alpha White Resin Cartridge for Form Studio 1, 1 L — white photopolymer resin for creating models, prototypes, and other parts on Form Studio 1. The material is part of the Alpha Resins family, developed specifically for this platform.

Matte Surface and Fine Detail Reproduction

Alpha White Resin provides a rich matte color, maintains the clarity of fine details, and forms smooth dimensionally accurate surfaces. This allows for obtaining parts with neat geometry and quality surfaces after printing and post-processing.

What is Needed for Printing

For Alpha White Resin, two layer thickness options are available — 50 and 100 µm.

The standard Form Studio 1 Resin Tank, designed for Alpha Resins, is used for operation.

Alpha White Resin is intended for use with Form Studio 1 and is not compatible with Form 4/4B and Form 4L/4BL.

Post-Printing Workflow

After printing, parts can be washed using the Formlabs Resin Washing Solution.

For Alpha Resins, the basic Form Studio Wash+Cure setup includes:

• 5 minutes of washing;
• 5 minutes of curing.

After printing is completed, Form Studio 1 displays the recommended washing and curing time for the printed parts.

When working with liquid resin, it is recommended to use protective gloves.

When using Alpha Resins on Form Studio 1 together with VOC Extractor, the system meets UL GREENGUARD Gold requirements for low chemical emissions.
