Formlabs Alpha Clear Resin Cartridge for Form Studio 1, 1 L — a transparent photopolymer resin for creating models, prototypes, and other parts on Form Studio 1. The material combines optical transparency with precise reproduction of fine details and smooth dimensionally accurate surfaces.

Transparency and Accuracy of Finished Parts

Alpha Clear Resin has higher optical transparency than Clear V5.

The material also provides clear reproduction of fine details and smooth dimensionally accurate surfaces. This makes it suitable for transparent models and prototypes where neat shape reproduction and the ability to see through the printed part are important.

Printing on Form Studio 1

For Alpha Clear Resin, a layer thickness of 50 and 100 µm is available.

The material is used with the standard Form Studio 1 Resin Tank, designed for Alpha Resins, and is intended for use with Form Studio 1.

Alpha Resins are not compatible with Form 4/4B and Form 4L/4BL.

Post-Processing of Printed Parts

Alpha Clear Resin is compatible with Formlabs Resin Washing Solution.

For Alpha Resins, the basic setting of Form Studio Wash+Cure involves 5 minutes of washing and 5 minutes of curing. After printing is complete, Form Studio 1 displays the recommended washing and curing time.

It is recommended to use protective gloves when working with liquid resin.

When using Alpha Resins on Form Studio 1 together with VOC Extractor, the system meets the UL GREENGUARD Gold certification requirements for low chemical emissions.
