3D printer Markforged Onyx Pro

3D printer Markforged Onyx Pro. Buy for professional printing

Markforged Onyx Pro is an innovative product that allows you to manufacture durable parts to replace aluminum ones right on your desk! With small dimensions of the device, thanks to the use of continuous fiber reinforcement technology CFR, you can get detailed products of unique strength. The device operates on the basis of a solid aluminum frame. This ensures high accuracy and repeatability. The printer can work for you around the clock!

Thanks to the reinforced extrusion system, the device can use nylon thread reinforced with microcarbon fiber. It destroys the traditional extruder, and Markforged Onyx Pro can work with this material for thousands of hours of printing!

Markforged Onyx Pro: plastic with fiberglass

Simple, reliable and durable – Markforged Onyx Pro will allow you to quickly set up the production of high-quality precision products even in the absence of large areas for production. The precision design of the printer ensures the printing of precise parts. The more common FFF printing is supplemented by a 2nd generation fiber reinforcement system, which allows for the reinforcement of parts with fiberglass continuously, over the entire print area. The printer's precision design ensures accurate printing of details.

Thanks to fiberglass reinforcement, the plastic becomes stronger, 10 times stronger than ABS! This allows products printed on the Onyx Pro to replace worn aluminum parts.

The printer is equipped with a solid aluminum chassis, which guarantees the reliability and long service life of the device. Parts subject to the greatest wear during operation are very easy to replace. Nozzles and feed tubes are available for replacement. After 10 µm of printing, it may also be necessary to replace the print bed.

Materials

The following materials can be used for printing with Markforged Onyx Pro:

  • Smooth TPU 95A (rubber-like material for printing flexible, durable parts).
  • Precise PLA (affordable plastic for prototyping).
  • Onyx (microcarbon fiber-filled nylon).
  • Fiberglass (inexpensive material 11 times harder than ABS plastic)

The printer can completely fill the part with material, or print with closed cells, to reduce weight and save material.

Thanks to the layer resolution from 100 to 250 nm, you can achieve high detail. The working area of the printer is 320x132x154 mm, which is quite a lot, given its small dimensions.

Advantages of the Markforged Onyx Pro 3D printer

  • A compact printer that allows you to print industrial-quality parts.
  • The reinforced extruder can withstand the use of fiberglass for printing durable parts.
  • The 2nd generation extruder is equipped with a system for detecting the absence of plastic.
  • Reinforcing the plastic with fiberglass over the entire printing area allows you to get parts 10 times stronger than with ABS 3D printing.
  • The dimensions of the device are only 584x330x355, and the working area is 320x132x154 mm.
  • The printer weighs only 16 kg – the device can be placed on a regular table.
  • The layer thickness can be from 100 to 250 microns, which ensures high accuracy of the finished part.
  • The printer settings provide for both complete filling of the part with printed material and filling the inner part with closed cells.
  • The Markforged Onyx Pro 3D printer is assembled on the basis of a solid aluminum frame.
  • The printing table is made of composite material with a precise ground coating.

Metal

Markforged Metal Filaments combine the simplicity and safety of FFF printing with the superior properties of advanced metals, bringing metal 3D printing to your benchtop.

Plastics

Composite Base filaments are engineering-grade materials that print using a conventional FFF (FDM-style) process. Print with them alone or with Continuous Fibers to yield strong parts. The ULTEM™ and 9085 trademarks are used under license from SABIC, its affiliates or subsidiaries.

Continuous Fiber

Continuous Fibers enable Markforged composite printers to print metal-strength parts. They cannot be used alone — however, when printed with a Composite Base, they form the backbone of a strong printed part.
