Why do you need a Wash-1?

The metal filament used to print parts consists not only of metal powder but also of plastic. It binds the powder, making the material as comfortable and safe as possible. But after printing, some of the plastic must be removed from the finished part.

The technologically correct way to do this is in a special sink designed specifically for this process, using the solvent Option SF-79. Depending on the printing material and the size of the part, the washing process can take from 12 to 72 hours. The sink can be operated with normal ventilation. But after washing, there is something else you need to do.


How to use Sinter-2

The printed and washed part does not have the necessary strength and wear resistance parameters to fully replace the working parts of the devices. Sintering is the final touch in the 3D printing production cycle. Printed and washed parts are placed in Sinter-2 to ensure that the printed layers are bonded to the maximum extent possible. After sintering, the part takes on its final form, a product with a treated surface.

The operating temperature of the gas-fired furnace can reach 1300 °C. Sinter-2 has a larger working volume and more temperature control options than Sinter-1. The furnace has a mechanical door lock. Typically, it takes 26 to 31 hours to fully sinter a part. For processing small parts, Sinter-2 has an express mode: sintering 250 g of parts in 17 hours.
