Markforged Mark Two: 3D printer for different materials
3D printer Markforged Mark Two is the most versatile 3D printer in the line of desktop printers from Markforged. If you buy Mark Two, then the material limitations simply disappear. It can print with the following materials: Onyx®, Nylon, Smooth TPU 95A, Precision PLA, Carbon Fiber, Glass Fiber, Aramid Fiber (Kevlar®), HSHT Glass Fiber. You can get any part that the size of the printer's print area allows. The Mark Two has a print area of 320 x 132 x 154 mm. These are excellent parameters, given the overall dimensions of the printer: 584 x 330 x 355 mm.
Mark Two challenges traditional part manufacturing techniques
The device weighs only 16 kg and fits easily on the table. The printing process can be organized on the day of purchase – the printer is 90% ready for work!
Filament fusion technology is used in printing. The 2nd generation extruder is extremely stable and allows the use of carbon fiber, fiberglass, or aramid fiber throughout the printing process.
The 2nd generation extruders have a function for detecting the absence of plastic. This module experiences heavy loads, so it is easy to replace. But before it is needed, the printer will print for thousands of hours!
The Markforged Mark Two 3D printer can completely fill a part with material, or make closed cells. This significantly reduces the weight of the product, without losing strength, and saves material. The program has several options for cell geometry.
Desktop 3D Printer: Robust Inside
Thanks to the precision design of the printer, extremely precise parts are obtained at the output. Possible layer resolution from 100 μm to 250 μm. If you plan to print a lot, you can take several printers. The software from the manufacturer allows you to manage a group of printers.
The device has a solid aluminum body and precision components – this will ensure reliable operation of the device. Thanks to the variety of available materials, you can get durable and beautiful products that are not inferior in characteristics to aluminum ones.

Plastics
Composite Base filaments are engineering-grade materials that print using a conventional FFF (FDM-style) process. Print with them alone or with Continuous Fibers to yield strong parts. The ULTEM™ and 9085 trademarks are used under license from SABIC, its affiliates or subsidiaries.
Continuous Fiber
Continuous Fibers enable Markforged composite printers to print metal-strength parts. They cannot be used alone — however, when printed with a Composite Base, they form the backbone of a strong printed part.
