Full metal parts production cycle in 28 hours

The Metal X 3D printer, complete with Wash-1 sink and Sinter-1 furnace, will help you organize a full cycle of parts production in 28 hours. Thanks to the innovative filament, which consists of metal powder bound with plastic, you can quickly get a finished product. The models printed on Metal X are mechanically equivalent to aluminum products and can replace them. After all, die casting is a rather lengthy and expensive process, and 3D printing is a modern alternative to traditional production technologies.

Markforged Metal X 3D printer

Markforged Metal X allows you to quickly produce a functional metal part. In just 28 hours, you can design and get a product ready for use! The unique metal filament 3D printing technology ensures quality comparable to investment casting. Unlike traditional methods, it takes much less time to produce a part, and the process is less complicated and labor-intensive.

The use of 3D printing is especially justified when creating small batches of products or single pieces. Modern metal materials virtually eliminate limitations: you can print anything within the print area (300×220×180 mm).

Wash-1 - easy and efficient cleaning of printed parts

After the part is printed, it is necessary to remove excess plastic from the product. This is done in a special solution of Opteon SF-79 Wash 1. The solution was specially developed for washing metal products after printing. It has a high efficiency factor and is environmentally friendly. Washing a part usually lasts from 17 to 31 hours. This is a very simple device that is easy to use. Simple ventilation is enough to organize the work. The sink has been tested and its safety for users has been confirmed.

Sinter-1 - a highly optimized furnace for sintering metal parts

The tube-type furnace is gas-fired. It provides sintering of printing layers within 26-31 hours. The furnace is designed taking into account the vast experience in the production of parts by injection molding. The maximum temperature of the furnace reaches 1300°C. The furnace is quite compact, which makes it possible to set up the production of industrial quality parts even in a small area. Several sets of equipment can be purchased to scale up production.

Metal X system - a complete solution for production of any scale

The complete package allows you to start working immediately. When you purchase Metal X in combination with the Wash-1 washing station and the Sinter-1 sintering furnace, you get the perfect solution for industrial production.

Wide range of materials

The range of materials is constantly expanding, which allows you to print any part. The manufacturer offers materials to choose from for different tasks:

  1. 17-4PH Stainless Steel - stainless steel with high strength, corrosion resistance, and hardness. It is used in the aerospace, oil, and medical industries.
  2. A2 and D2 Tool Steel - tool steel, air hardened to increase impact resistance. Suitable for dies and molds.
  3. Inconel 625 is a nickel-chromium alloy that is resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. Ideal for use in medicine and jet engines.
  4. Copper, H13 Tool Steel is a universal tool steel with high hardness and heat resistance. It is suitable for tool bodies, soldering devices and other products.
