Introducing the FreeScan Combo, a hybrid 3D scanner from Shining 3D that combines different light sources in one device and achieves superior portability and versatility.

The powerful FreeScan Combo contains two light sources in an ultra-compact body measuring only 193*63*53 mm. It is equipped with both blue laser and VCSEL infrared technology and weighs only 620 g.

Thanks to its various scanning modes and technologies, the FreeScan Combo can adapt to many applications. It delivers metrological accuracy for inspection, reverse engineering, product design, additive manufacturing and other demanding applications in a wide range of sectors.

Combining a blue laser and VCSEL infrared light source, the FreeScan Combo 3D metrology scanner helps you achieve greater efficiency, productivity, and profitability. It has metrological accuracy in fine mode up to 0.02 mm.

Features

With small dimensions of 193*63*53 mm and a weight of only 620 g, the FreeScan Combo has dual light sources: a blue laser and an infrared VCSEL. This lightweight and portable metrology scanner offers four modes of operation: multi-line scanning, single-line scanning, fine scanning, and infrared scanning:

• 26 crossing blue laser lines for global smooth scanning;
  
• 7 parallel blue laser lines for fine scanning of parts;
• 1 single blue laser line for deep hole data;
• Infrared light source and large viewing angle for more applications.

Precise scanning

With metrological accuracy that complies with VDI-VDE 2634-3, the accuracy in multi-line scanning mode can be up to 0.02 mm.
