The Revopoint MetroY is a handheld 3D scanner designed for high-precision digitization in professional and research applications. It is optimized for indoor use and excels in tasks that demand fine detail capture and stable accuracy.

• Laser Scanning Technology
  The MetroY employs a multi-line blue laser system: 30 cross lines, 15 parallel lines, plus a single-laser mode. This configuration ensures reliable acquisition of complex geometries such as narrow grooves and intricate surface details.

• Precision and Accuracy
  Single-frame repeatability reaches up to 0.01 mm, with overall accuracy up to 0.02 mm. Volumetric accuracy is defined as 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L(m), providing dependable results across different object sizes.

• Resolution and Point Density
  With a fused point distance as fine as 0.05 mm, the MetroY is well-suited for generating highly detailed models of small and medium-sized components.

• Working Range
  Operating distance spans 200–400 mm, with a capture area ranging from 123 × 130 mm (closest range) to 290 × 260 mm (farthest range).

• Data Acquisition Speed
  In multi-line laser mode, the scanner achieves up to 1.5 million points per second, combining speed with reliable data quality.

Three scanning modes

The scanner supports three scanning modes:

• Single Shot — for highly accurate capture of small objects or complex parts when maximum detail is required.
• Fixed Scan — for objects that remain stationary during scanning. Ideal for use with a tripod or rotating platform.
• Handheld Scan — provides flexibility when scanning large or complex objects. Speed ​​is faster, but detail may be lower depending on conditions.
