Industrial 3D Printer CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS for Large-Format Dual-Material Printing

CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS is an industrial FDM 3D printer for manufacturing large-scale parts from standard, engineering, and composite materials. The model is equipped with two Auto-Raising extruders, an active chamber heated up to 80 °C, and a build area up to 620 × 620 × 620 mm. The maximum nozzle temperature is 420 °C, and the printing speed is up to 300 mm/s.

Auto-Raising Dual Extrusion System

The printing unit of the CreatBot D600 Pro3 HS consists of two smart extruders with automatic vertical lifting. When one extruder is not in use, its nozzle is raised and does not contact the model surface.

Dual Nozzle Shutter mechanical flaps block the inactive nozzle and reduce the leakage of molten material during switching between extruders. This is especially important when working with primary and support filaments within a single production cycle.

Dual extrusion allows you to:

  • combine two different materials in one model;
  • use soluble or easily removable materials for supports;
  • manufacture parts with complex internal geometry and overhanging elements;
  • improve the quality of surfaces that contact supports;
  • combine engineering and composite filaments.

The high-performance hotend heats up to 420 °C and provides a volumetric extrusion performance of up to 90 mm³/s. The motion system and material feeding process are controlled by optimized Klipper firmware.

Mechanics and Automatic Calibration

Industrial servo motors and reinforced linear guides are used for stable movement of the large printing unit. This design supports precise positioning during high-speed operation.

  • Nozzle offset calibration: An HD macro camera and dual photoelectric sensors automatically determine the mutual position of the nozzles. The adjustment accuracy along the X and Y axes is 0.02 mm, and along the Z axis is 0.005 mm.
  • Eddy Current Platform Scanning: High-frequency electromagnetic sensors check the geometry of the working surface and perform leveling in about 60 seconds with an accuracy of up to 0.001 mm.
  • Independent Quad-Z Drive: Four Z-axis motors separately adjust the height of each corner of the platform, compensating for tilt and maintaining the parallelism of the working surface.
  • Positioning accuracy: 0.011 mm along the XY axes and 0.0025 mm along the Z axis.

Active Chamber for Thermostable Printing

The enclosed working chamber supports forced convection heating up to 80 °C. Double thermal insulation of the body helps maintain the set temperature throughout a long production cycle.

A stable thermal environment reduces uneven shrinkage, internal stresses, deformation, and the risk of delamination of large-scale models. This allows working with ABS, polycarbonate, polyamides, and other materials sensitive to temperature fluctuations.

The working platform heats up to 120 °C. It is made of aviation aluminum and equipped with a removable magnetic cover.

Supported Materials

Nozzle temperature up to 420 °C, platform heating up to 120 °C, and active chamber up to 80 °C ensure compatibility with a wide range of filaments.

  • Standard and engineering materials: PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, TPU, PC, PA, and Nylon.
  • Reinforced composites: ABS-CF, PC-CF, PET-CF, PET-GF, UltraPA-CF, and PPS-CF, as well as other compatible materials filled with carbon or glass fiber.
  • Support materials: PVA, Breakaway, and other filaments for creating soluble or easily removable supports.

Filament Drying and Feeding Control

A material drying compartment is located at the bottom of the body. The temperature can be adjusted from 0 to 70 °C, and the heating duration can be set using a timer.

Sensors monitor the presence of filament in both extruders. In Backup Mode, the printer can continue operation through the second extruder if the material in the first one runs out. This reduces the risk of interrupting long prints.

Remote Monitoring and Control

The built-in HD camera allows you to observe the working chamber and the printing process. Through a mobile app, the user can control the process, change speed and temperature, or pause the task.

Remote access is especially useful during the long production of large-scale models when the equipment operates for many hours.

Air Filtration and Safety

The two-stage Ultra Air Filter system consists of a HEPA filter and a layer of activated carbon. It captures up to 99.995% of fine particles and absorbs volatile organic compounds and odors generated during filament heating.

The working chamber doors are equipped with an opening sensor and a locking mechanism. The printer also supports external model cooling.
