Features of 3D Printing with PETG Matte HS
For high-speed operation, it is important to correctly set the nozzle temperature and ensure sufficient performance of the filament feed and melting system. If the material does not fully melt, it can worsen layer formation and the quality of the finished part. Recommended printing parameters are provided in the specification table.
For printing, a textured PEI platform can be used without additional adhesive. The need to prepare other work surfaces depends on their type and recommendations for a specific 3D printer.
When working with the material, model cooling is provided. Retraction parameters can be adjusted considering the extruder design, printing speed, and part geometry.
Recommendations for Drying and Storage
PETG Matte HS is recommended to be dried before use, as moisture absorption can negatively affect print stability and the surface quality of finished parts. The recommended drying temperature is 60–65 °C.
For long printing sessions, it is advisable to protect the material from moisture throughout the process. Between uses, the filament is recommended to be stored in airtight packaging with a desiccant.
