Accuracy, Speed, and Working Range
MetroY Ultra provides Single-frame Accuracy up to 0.015 mm, Single-frame Precision up to 0.01 mm, and Fused Point Distance up to 0.05 mm. Volumetric accuracy is 0.015 mm + 0.04 mm × L, where L is the length of the object in meters. The maximum scanning speed reaches 90 frames/s with a compatible NVIDIA GPU or 60 frames/s when processed via CPU. The working distance is 200–400 mm, and the field of a single frame ranges from 152 × 138 to 332 × 276 mm. The scanner is designed for objects sized from 10 × 10 × 10 mm to 2 × 2 × 2 m.
Accuracy Control and Revo Measure
The included Accuracy Verification Ball Plate is used to verify the volumetric accuracy of MetroY Ultra before critical measurements. The plate is equipped with two reference steel spheres, and Revo Metro compares the measured parameters with control values and shows the current system deviation. The one-year Revo Measure license allows measuring distances, diameters, radii, and angles, performing 3-2-1 alignment, comparing scans with CAD models, building deviation maps, and controlling GD&T. Results can be formatted into PDF or JSON reports.
Surface Scanning and Tracking
Blue laser modes are suitable for milled, stamped, and dark parts. For mirror, chrome, transparent, and highly glossy surfaces, it is recommended to use a matting 3D spray. Multi-line Laser Mode supports operation at illumination up to 100,000 lux, so the scanner can be used in open areas and brightly lit workshops. For positioning, Marker Tracking, Global Marker Tracking, and Feature Tracking are available. Global Marker Tracking helps reduce error accumulation on large parts, while Feature Tracking orients by the natural geometry of the object without markers.

Automatic Scanning and Data Processing
Dual-axis Turntable automatically rotates and tilts the part, helping to scan undercuts, inner walls, and lower areas without manual flipping. Wi-Fi 6 provides wireless data transfer to a computer. In Revo Metro, frame stitching, point cloud cleaning, and polygonal model building are performed. For metrological control, the finished scan is transferred to Revo Measure, where it can be aligned with the CAD model, GD&T analysis can be conducted, and a report can be generated.
