Unitree G1 Edu Standard-U1 humanoid robot

Humanoid Robot Unitree G1 Edu Standard-U1 – An Engineering Base for the Bold and Daring

Unitree G1 Edu Standard-U1 is not just a gadget but a fully-fledged open platform created for those who build the future. If you are involved in R&D, developing AI technologies, or managing a modern laboratory, this humanoid will become your primary tool for testing and development. It fits perfectly into the ecosystem of 3D farms, technical universities, and innovation centers where theory transforms into real prototypes. With this gadget, life will definitely become more interesting!

What makes it special? Unitree G1 combines complex human kinematics with the power of a modern computing station supporting ROS. There are no closed scenarios here – you decide which algorithms and control models to implement. It is a blank canvas for an engineer, allowing you to go beyond simulations and work with the physical world.

Unitree G1 Edu Standard-U1: a humanoid robot that can learn

Technological Embodiment: Compactness and Incredible Flexibility

Forget about the clumsy robots of the past. G1 impresses with its thoughtful design: standing 127 cm tall and weighing about 35 kg, it folds easily, making it convenient to transport between locations. But the real magic lies in the "joints."

The Edu version features an impressive number of degrees of freedom (up to 43 DOF in top configurations). Thanks to proprietary Unitree motors with torque up to 120 Nm, the robot is capable of not just walking, but performing complex acrobatic tricks and maintaining perfect balance where others would fall. This brings its movements as close as possible to human plasticity.

Excellent mobility and multi-functionality

"Brains" and Sensors: How G1 Sees the World

To allow the robot to navigate freely, it has been equipped with premium-class "eyes." A 3D LiDAR from Livox is mounted in the head, scanning the space at 360 degrees. Combined with an Intel RealSense depth camera, this allows the G1 to instantly build room maps and recognize even small objects.

Intelligence is powered by a high-performance NVIDIA Jetson Orin onboard computer. Its resources are sufficient to run complex neural networks and Large Language Models (LLM) directly "on board." You can teach the robot to make decisions independently, turning it into a true embodied AI.

Why Professionals Choose the Edu Standard-U1 Version?

Unlike basic models, the Edu version is built for deep customization:

  • Full Code Freedom: Support for ROS2, Python, and C++ allows you to write your own scenarios without manufacturer limitations.
  • Endurance: The 9000 mAh battery ensures that your presentations or experiments won't be interrupted at the most critical moment.
  • Dexterous Hands: The robot's manipulators are capable of delicate work – they can hold tools and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills.
  • Modularity: Through open APIs, you can connect any equipment – from tactile sensors to additional cameras.

AI performance up to 100 TOPS

Where Will G1 Bring the Most Benefit?

This platform is universal, but it excels most in the following areas:

  • Science and Education: An ideal base for studying biomechanics, navigation, and AI programming in universities.
  • Service and Marketing: The robot can become a futuristic administrator or the face of your company at exhibitions.
  • R&D and Software Development: The best testing ground for "Embodied AI" systems.

In the process of mastering the programming and control of the G1, a strange synergy occurs: you improve the robot, and it improves you!

Unitree G1 – An Investment in Your Capabilities

Why choose the Unitree G1? It is a rare balance between price and professional functionality. It is significantly more affordable than competitors from Boston Dynamics but offers the same (and in some places wider) toolkit for development. Durable aviation aluminum and wear-resistant plastic ensure that the robot will withstand intensive loads in the laboratory. By choosing G1, you get not just a machine, but a partner for creating the technologies of the future.
