IMPACT PLA filament Fiberlogy 1,75 mm / 0,85 kg

Resistant IMPACT PLA with ABS-like properties

Resistant PLA or IMPACT PLA is another 3D printing material from the Polish brand Fiberlogy that offers the user material durability and print accuracy at the same time.

IMPACT PLA has properties similar to those of ABS plastic, while maintaining the ease and environmental friendliness of printing as when printing with conventional PLA material. It is a technical plastic that can be used to create models with increased resistance to cracking and breaking. This is achieved due to the high strength of the plastic and its high resistance to high temperatures. These characteristics allow IMPACT PLA to print products that operate in extreme conditions while maintaining a high level of accuracy in 3D printing.

Application of IMPACT PLA

This is a technical plastic for precision engineering 3D printing of functional prototypes or large tools. Use it to create items that require high temperature resistance or high strength:

  • Prototypes: tools, conceptual models, connecting and mechanical parts.
  • Parts and tools: Elements of machinery and equipment, vehicles, electronic equipment, gearboxes, gears.
  • Finished products: containers, holders.
  • Toys.

IMPACT PLA properties

  • Increased strength compared to PLA (up to 800%) and ABS (50%).
  • Resistance to high temperatures.
  • Properties superior to ABS.
  • Exact copying of parts.
  • Very good adhesion.

Fiberlogy manufactures its products on modern German equipment from high quality raw materials delivered from trusted suppliers. Quality control takes place at every stage of plastic production. Particular attention is paid to the filament purity and uniformity of its diameter along its entire length. The plastic diameter is checked with a laser micrometer to ensure the best dimensional tolerance (above average +/- 0.02 mm), and nozzles (+0.01 mm). Manufacturer reports about it every time on the packaging.
