What to Know About the Material

The filament supports speeds up to 258 mm/s with appropriate printing parameters. This indicator uses a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.4 mm line width, and 0.2 mm layer height.
RFID Recognition in Bambu Lab Equipment
The filament is integrated with an RFID tag containing material data. When used with compatible Bambu Lab equipment, the AMS system can automatically read this data and recognize the installed material and its parameters, reducing the number of manual settings.
On 3D printers from other manufacturers, the material is used as a standard PLA filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm with manual setting of appropriate parameters.
Compatibility
The filament has a standard diameter of 1.75 mm and can be used on 3D printers from various manufacturers that support PLA filament of this diameter.
When used with Bambu Lab equipment, the material is compatible with automatic feeding systems:
- AMS;
- AMS 2 Pro;
- AMS HT;
- AMS lite.
On printers from other manufacturers, it is necessary to focus on the parameters of the specific equipment and the PLA filament profile.
Drying and Storage
Before use, it is recommended to dry the filament to maintain stable print quality.
Recommended drying modes:
- Air circulation drying cabinet — 50 °C for 8 hours;
- AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT — 55 °C for 8 hours;
- Heating platform of the X1 series printer — 60–70 °C for 12 hours.
After use, it is recommended to store the filament in a dry environment.
