Innovative 3D printer Bambu Lab P1S Combo with AMS system
Innovative Bambu Lab P1S Combo 3D printer with Automatic Filament Change System (AMS), which allows printing up to 16 plastic colors simultaneously.
Developed on the basis of the P1P system, the new P1S Combo also has a 256*256*256 mm build volume. The difference lies in a closed working chamber with a built-in carbon air filter and an improved cooling system. Controlling the air quality inside the workspace ensures improved 3D printing quality with materials that are prone to high shrinkage and emit harmful substances, such as ABS. The printer is equipped with more powerful cooling of the printed model, has a fan for forced air circulation in the chamber and another on the control panel to cool the control board.
The P1S Combo 3D printer borrowed design solutions from the budget systems P1P and P1S, which, in turn, are based on the flagship Bambu Lab X1 model. Therefore, they also develop accelerations of up to 20 m/s² and print speeds of up to 500 mm/s, using vibration damping and dynamic melt flow control algorithms. The gearbox extruder with two drive gears has a direct filament feed, the all-metal hotend is heated to 300 °C and can be used for 3D printing with composite materials such as carbon and glass-filled polymers.
AMS - automatic filament change system
One module accepts up to four filament spools, but up to four such modules can be connected to the 3D printer to bring the filament selection up to sixteen.

It prints at a maximum speed of 500 mm/s, with acceleration from zero to 500 mm/s taking just 0.025 seconds.
