Premium ASA filament Raise3D 1,75 mm / 1,0 kg

Premium ASA filament for Raise3D printers

Premium ASA Raise3D filament for 3D printing is an ideal filament for outdoor applications, which is a good alternative to ABS with improved weather resistance. Its UV resistance and excellent mechanical properties make it an ideal choice for real-world use.

ASA (Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile) is an opaque thermoplastic 3D printing filament with mechanical properties similar to ABS but better resistance to UV rays and weathering. Therefore, it is usually used outdoors to preserve its color and properties.

ASA is an amorphous opaque thermoplastic structurally similar to ABS. ASA boasts slightly better mechanical properties, but it can also cost a bit more in some cases. Because ABS is so popular and has so many more options, it's generally recommended to go with ABS if off-road use isn't a concern.
