ASA filament Fiberlogy 1,75 mm / 0,75 kg

Fyberlogy ASA - durable filament for 3D printer

If you print items that will be exposed to weather conditions, please choose Fyberlogy ASA for 3D printer. Material that is resistant to UV, high temperatures, and moisture. Due to its high mechanical and thermal resistance (up to 94 °C) and ease of printing, this material is an excellent substitute for ABS filaments.

These unique properties of ASA ensure the durability of all 3D prints made from it. ASA filament has gained popularity in the automotive and consumer goods industries and has been in use for years.

Due to its significantly lower shrinkage than ABS, ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate) does not require a heated chamber to ensure successful printing. However, it is recommended during printing. Unlike its predecessor, ASA 3D printing filament produces much less unpleasant odors. In addition, its lower shrinkage and good adhesion prevent the model from twisting and cracking and ensure high dimensional stability of the 3D print.

The finished 3D model made with Fiberlogy ASA filament can be smoothed by exposing it to acetone. The material is suitable for sanding and painting. It can also be bonded with acetone.

Fiberlogy manufactures its products on modern German equipment from high quality raw materials delivered from trusted suppliers. Quality control takes place at every stage of plastic production. Particular attention is paid to the filament purity and uniformity of its diameter along its entire length. The plastic diameter is checked with a laser micrometer to ensure the best dimensional tolerance (above average +/- 0.02 mm), and nozzles (+0.01 mm). Manufacturer reports about it every time on the packaging.
