Ortur F20 Pro 5W is a desktop laser engraver-cutter for making souvenirs, decorative elements, prototypes, and personalized products. The enclosed case, working area of 150 × 150 mm, and the LU2-4-LF diode module with a power of 5 W allow engraving and cutting of small workpieces in a workshop, educational laboratory, or office.

Working Capabilities and Design of Ortur F20 Pro

• Processing area 150 × 150 mm: designed to work with compact parts, plates, leather accessories, decorative elements, and souvenir products.
• Diode module LU2-4-LF with a power of 5 W: uses a long-focus optical system with a focal length of 50 mm and is suitable for both engraving and cutting sheet materials.
• Laser spot 0.17 × 0.25 mm: allows applying inscriptions, contour images, ornaments, and raster graphics.
• Movement speed up to 15,000 mm/min: ensures productive processing of single workpieces and small series of products.
• Air supply to the cutting area: the complete nozzle directs the air flow onto the material, reducing the amount of soot and edge darkening. An external compressor needs to be connected separately.
• Dimensions 350 × 321 × 210 mm: the compact format simplifies the placement of equipment on the work table.

Cutting and Engraving Materials

The blue diode laser with a wavelength of 450 ± 5 nm works with common non-metallic materials, as well as with metal surfaces that have the appropriate coating.

• Materials for cutting: wood, plywood, MDF, opaque dark acrylic, natural and laser-processable artificial leather, cardboard, paper, felt, and thin foam materials.
• Materials for engraving: wood, plywood, MDF, cork, leather, cardboard, anodized aluminum, painted or coated metal, stamp rubber, slate, stone, ceramics, and pre-treated glass.

The cutting result depends on the properties and color of the material, the selected speed, laser power, number of passes, and air blowing intensity.

Enclosed Case and Safety System

Ortur F20 Pro can be installed in workshops, office spaces, and educational laboratories. The case separates the working area from the surrounding space and provides visual control of the process.

• Protective panels limit direct exposure to laser radiation during operation.
• Emergency button on the front panel allows immediate task execution stop.
• Tilt and position control stops operation in case of equipment displacement or the moving mechanism going beyond the working area.
• Radiation duration limitation prevents prolonged laser operation in one stationary point.
• Voltage and current control protects electronic components from inappropriate power parameters.
• System monitoring function controls the correctness of executing work commands.
• Exhaust of combustion products is carried out through a ventilation duct and a flexible air duct, to which an exhaust or air purification system can be connected.

Control and Software

Connection via USB and Wi-Fi allows transferring prepared tasks from a computer or compatible mobile device.
