Peel 3 applications

The global Peel 3D user community has taken advantage of the high-performance and affordable Peel 3 3D scanners for all types of applications. Whether you want to perform 3D scanning for heritage and art preservation, AR, VR and digital content, or healthcare.

• Surfaces. Peel 3 is capable of scanning matte black parts (such as plastic) or non-shiny metal surfaces. To scan glossy black surfaces and shiny metallic surfaces such as chrome, use a spray powder to create a matte surface. You can choose AESUB Blue or AESUB Orange 3D scanning self-evaporating spray. This creates a fickle matte cover on the scanned object surface and helps Peel 3 to create an accurate three-dimensional copy.
• Target labels. Peel 3 scanners are able to use an object's geometry and texture for positioning. So targets are not absolutely necessary. However, they complement and help when scanning flatter or smoother surfaces, as well as when accuracy is important.
