Three times more powerful laser allows printing with new materials and increases printing speed.
- Higher printing speed - saving time
The printing speed depends mainly on the material, geometry of the object and density of packing of parts in the Build Chamber. Compared to Fuse 1, the new Fuse 1+ 30W with Nylon 12 Powder, for example, can reduce print time by 50%.
- Additional supply of nitrogen
Fuse 1+ 30W received a new nitrogen supply function - through a nitrogen generator or gas tanks. Inert gas 3D printing improves the mechanical properties of Nylon 11-based materials, and further improves the recovery characteristics of Nylon 11 Powder, which is 50%.
- New exclusive materials
With a more powerful laser and nitrogen supply, the Fuse 1+ 30W can also process carbon fiber filled Nylon 11 CF Powder - in addition to all previous Formlabs SLS powders. This material is ideal for printing lightweight finished products that require both stiffness and high strength and impact resistance over time.
- Low refresh rate
With an industry-leading recovery rate of only 30-50%, the Fuse production line provides the most efficient powder recovery. Thanks to the new innovative technology, up to 70% SLS powder can be recycled.

The new Nylon 11 CF carbon fiber material sheds less and sticks together more easily. The changed geometry of the hopper and agitator ensure that even complex materials can be filled evenly and without the formation of lumps.
