Nylon 11 CF with carbonfiber is a new powder supplied with the Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W 3D printer. This engineering material contains chopped carbon fiber that has been added to Nylon 11 Powder. The result is a composite material that is rigid and strong for SLS printing, which produces lighter finished products due to its lower specific gravity.

Together with the new features unlocked by the Fuse 1+ 30W printer, Nylon 11 CF powder makes it possible to quickly and conveniently print engineering parts right in your workshop or laboratory.

Where Nylon 11 CF is used

Nylon 11 CF reinforced with carbon fiber has excellent strength characteristics. It produces excellent quality finished parts and prototypes that require high rigidity, excellent strength, and lightness, and which are able to withstand repeated impacts and loads:

• Functional composite prototypes.
• Tooling, clamping and fastening devices.
• Spare parts and replacement of metal parts.
• Impact resistant equipment.

Important: Nylon 11 CF Powder requires a 300 micron Sift 300 Sieve.

Nylon 11 CF comes in a box with two 3kg containers and an RFID card preloaded with virtual print credit.

Fresh material is loaded into the Fuse Sift Powder Processing Station and credit from the RFID card is loaded into the printer. In this way, Fuse 1+ can keep track of material usage and available new powder.
