Filament for 3D printer PET-G Premium
Filament for 3D printer PET-G Premium is characterized by high transparency and chemical resistance. Along with PLA plastics, it is one of the most popular materials for 3D printing. Compared to other thermoplastics used in FDM/FFF 3D printing, a significant advantage of PETG is its shrinkage close to zero and low moisture absorption. Details printed by PET-G maintain the stability of properties for a long time of use. PET-G Premium thread combines the most positive properties of PLA and ABS materials for 3D printing.
Elements made with the use of transparent PET-G Premium colors by Spectrum are characterized by a large proportion of the crystalline phase, which allows for an effect close to transparency, with a small number of external contours, gradually produced elements. The base material and pigments used in the production of PET-G Premium are approved for contact with food.
Among other properties that characterize Spectrum PETG, it is necessary to note the good creep resistance under constant load. This is possible thanks to the combination of layers of the applied material. This leads to much less anisotropy in the mechanical properties of the manufactured parts and makes the mechanical properties less different in some production areas compared to other thermoplastics designed for 3D printing.
The mechanical properties combined with the chemical resistance of Spectrum PET-G Premium determine the use of this material for the production of components with relatively high dimensional accuracy and stability of both shape and mechanical properties. These include gears and plain bearings that are subjected to static loads in an aqueous environment. In addition, Spectrum PET-G Premium is used for the production of elements in the form of translucent housings and lighting parts of various types of boards and signs.

Packaging
A 1.0 kg filament is wound on a transparent spool, which contains information about the type of material, diameter, color and recommended printing temperature. Each coil is packed in a vacuum with a dehumidifier. All in the original Spectrum Filaments foil cardboard.
Coil dimensions
- Outer diameter - 200 mm.
- Width - 67 mm.
- Inner diameter - 52 mm.
- Weight of empty coil - ± 250 g.
Verify quality of 3D plastic thread
Spectrum Filaments is the only company in Poland and one of the few in the world that has a tool for testing purchased filaments. VERIFY YOUR SPOOL is the most accurate quality control system on the market, ensuring that Spectrum Filaments products meet his stringent requirements.
Filament for 3D printers is produced by free extrusion, which is one of the most difficult extrusion processing technologies, due to the particularly significant influence of process parameters on product dimensions and material homogenization. During the manufacturing process, each 1mm of Spectrum Filaments is continuously measured in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8 µm, resulting in a quality end product. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, has introduced the possibility of an online presentation, individually for each coil produced:
- diameter travel along the entire length of the coil;
- average diameter;
- ovality;
- standard deviation.
