UltiMaker introduces the durable UltiMaker Nylon material for 3D printing on 2.85 mm printers of functional prototypes, tools, end-use parts that must withstand significant mechanical loads, with a reduced coefficient of friction. This polyamide based on PA6/66 has reduced moisture absorption and a longer shelf life compared to other nylon threads, which has a positive effect on the printing quality of the material.

The material is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, wear resistance, flexibility and low friction. Works perfectly with UltiMaker 3D printers thanks to thousands of hours of testing.

Compatibility

UltiMaker Nylon is officially supported by the UltiMaker S5, UltiMaker S3, UltiMaker 3 and UltiMaker 2+ series of 3D printers and is dual extrusion compatible with UltiMaker PVA and UltiMaker Breakaway support materials. Not suitable for printing on Method, Sketch or Replicator printers.
