Introducing Formlabs Form Auto, a hardware extension for Formlabs Form 3+ and Form 3B+ 3D printers, which is a part of the Formlabs Automation Ecosystem for SLA / LFS 3D Printing.

Working in tandem with the new Build Platform 2 with flexible steel-clad work surface, it automatically removes finished parts after printing and starts the next print without operator intervention. It's a fully turnkey solution for 24/7 production on your Formlabs photopolymer 3D printer, making affordable serial 3D printing a reality. Now your 3D printers will print continuously and without operator intervention.

Nonstop 3D printing - how does it work?

With any Form 3/B/+ printer, Build Platform 2 with patented Quick Release technology and Form Auto, you can easily turn your polymer printer into a 24/7 production line.

The Form Auto lifts the printer cap and removes the platform from it, detaches the parts from the platform and places them in a container ready for use in Form Wash. The platform automatically resets, and the next print is ready to go, without user intervention. The release action is recorded by the built-in camera. In this way, you can continuously and remotely monitor your production.

Form Auto supports non-cloud printing operations. In local mode, it allows you to print large volumes without using the Internet.
