Flexible Spectrum S-Flex filament Shore hardness 90A
TPU S-Flex 90A filament from Spectrum is a strong and flexible material that allows you to make flexible products much easier than other 3D plastics of this type. The appropriate composition of the material provides good adhesion both between the layers and between the printed product and the work platform.
Thanks to the resistance to hydrocarbons and good layering between layers, S-Flex 90A allows you to make sealing elements that must be resistant to any working fluid, which provides the best tightness. Parts made of this material can be used as energy absorbers, ie all kinds of bumpers or vibration dampers.
In addition to the above properties, the S-Flex 90A material is also characterized by good resistance to UV radiation and high resistance to aging. Flexible thread S-Flex 90A demonstrates resistance to weak and dilute acids and alkalis.
TPU S-Flex 90A characteristics
- Very good wear resistance.
- Up to 500% elongation at break.
- Shore hardness - A90.
- Resistance to many common industrial oils and chemicals.
- Low shrinkage.
- High quality surface.
- Reduced the number of lines when the printer is not working.
- Stability of the form and properties of material in the temperature range from -30 to +60 °C.
S-Flex 90A application
- Manufacturing of seals with high chemical resistance.
- Manufacturing of products to be used as energy adsorbents.
- Functional parts.
- Various bumpers, vibration dampers, guides, protective cases, clamping parts, sleeves, hinges.
A 0.25 kg filament is wound on a transparent spool, which contains information about the type of material, diameter, color and recommended printing temperature. Each coil is packed in a vacuum with a dehumidifier. All in the original Spectrum Filaments foil cardboard.
- Outer diameter - 140 mm.
- Width - 44 mm.
- Inner diameter - 52 mm.
- Weight of empty coil - ± 120 g.
Verify quality of 3D plastic thread
Spectrum Filaments is the only company in Poland and one of the few in the world that has a tool for testing purchased filaments. VERIFY YOUR SPOOL is the most accurate quality control system on the market, ensuring that Spectrum Filaments products meet his stringent requirements.
Filament for 3D printers is produced by free extrusion, which is one of the most difficult extrusion processing technologies, due to the particularly significant influence of process parameters on product dimensions and material homogenization. During the manufacturing process, each 1 mm of Spectrum Filaments is continuously measured in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8 µm, resulting in a quality end product. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, has introduced the possibility of an online presentation, individually for each coil produced:
- diameter travel along the entire length of the coil;
- average diameter;
- standard deviation.
