Polyamide PA6 Low Warp filament Spectrum Filaments 1,75 mm / 0,5 kg

PA6 Low Warp for 3D printer FDM

PA6 Low Warp Spectrum is a strong and abrasion-resistant material for 3D printing.

It is an extremely strong construction material based on polyamide 6. PA6 has a high shrinkage, so it has been added special additives to reduce it. Important characteristics of the resulting mixture PA6 Low Warp are its resistance to fuel and oil, high impact strength and very good mechanical properties.

Improved cohesion of Spectrum PA6 Low Warp material significantly reduces the effect of "twisting" - the separation of the lower contact surface of the base of the printed part from the desktop. A significant reduction in this negative effect is due to low shrinkage when treated at 0.3 %.

Additives that improve the properties of the material itself make it a self-lubricating material. This feature allows you to use parts of it for applications where you need to reduce friction. In addition, the manufactured elements will have good electrical insulating properties, as well as show physiological indifference.

To obtain very attractive technical properties of Poliamide Low Warp, it is necessary to follow the basic rules of storage of such materials (in a dry and dark place with a humidity below 15%). It is recommended to dry the material before and during the work to get the best parameters of the printed object.

Material characteristics

  • Low processing shrinkage.
  • High mechanical strength.
  • Chemical resistance to lubricants and oils.
  • Wide variety of applications.
  • A very high adhesion between layers, which minimises the risk of delamination.

PA6 Low Warp usage

  • Slide bearings, scrapers, guide rollers operating at elevated temperatures.
  • Sealing rings and plates with increased chemical and corrosion resistance.
  • End-use parts.
  • Tooling.
  • Functional prototyping.

Packaging

A 0.5 kg filament is wound on a transparent spool, which contains information about the type of material, diameter, color and recommended printing temperature. Each coil is packed in a vacuum with a dehumidifier. All in the original Spectrum Filaments foil cardboard.

Coil dimensions

  • Outer diameter - 200 mm.
  • Width - 55 mm.
  • Inner diameter - 52 mm.
  • Weight of empty coil - ± 220 g.

Verify quality of 3D plastic thread

Spectrum Filaments is the only company in Poland and one of the few in the world that has a tool for testing purchased filaments. VERIFY YOUR SPOOL is the most accurate quality control system on the market, ensuring that Spectrum Filaments products meet his stringent requirements.

Filament for 3D printers is produced by free extrusion, which is one of the most difficult extrusion processing technologies, due to the particularly significant influence of process parameters on product dimensions and material homogenization. During the manufacturing process, each 1mm of Spectrum Filaments is continuously measured in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8 µm, resulting in a quality end product. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, has introduced the possibility of an online presentation, individually for each coil produced:

  • diameter travel along the entire length of the coil;
  • average diameter;
  • ovality;
  • standard deviation.
