The First Accessible 100% Silicone 3D Printing Material
On September 12, 2023, Formlabs presented the first available 100% silicone material, Silicone 40A Resin. Formlabs silicone 3D printing ushers in a new era of 100% silicone 3D printing: fast and easy production of pure silicone parts for high-performance elastomeric applications with excellent elongation at break of 250% and tensile strength of 12 kN/m, and heat resistance that can withstand repeated cycles of stretching, bending and compression.
