Hemispherical 3D scanner Surphaser 100HSX-IR
Hemispherical 3D scanner Surphaser 100HSX-IR is a professional device for scanning large objects with a medium range. Surphaser scanners are renowned in the 3D measurement industry for offering the most accurate data, resolution, and data quality available in rangefinder scanners. Surphaser scanners are second to none when it comes to data quality and measurement accuracy.
Typical applications for scanners of this rank are aerospace, military equipment, automobiles, shipbuilding, large industrial equipment such as power generation, large impellers, large buildings, large cast parts. All applications where very high data quality and accuracy are important, in quality assurance and reverse engineering.
Surphaser manufactures ultra-short and short range scanners, as well as medium and long range scanners. Scanners Surphaser 100HSX are positioned as medium-range devices. The scanning range (range) of the IR_100HQ model is from 1 to 35 m and IR_100HS is from 1 to 50 m.
How Surphaser Scanners Work
The scanner rotates in two planes, vertical and horizontal, directing a laser beam into space, which is reflected by the laser mirror. The beam is reflected from the scanned object's surface and returned to the scanner sensor. It calculates the distance to the object from the phase shift. Scanner collects the cloudpoint XYZ coordinates database of the measured object's surface. The data quality obtained is ensured by the high density of laser beams per 1° angle. Scanner creates the geometry of large objects at a high speed of more than 1 million points per second and submillimeter accuracy up to 0.025 mm.
Main advantages of 100HSX-IR
- Submillimeter precision scanners with scanning speeds up to 1.2 million points per second. This is a 3D scanner for large objects with a scanning radius from 1 m to 50 m.
- Laser Class 3R - the device can work in industrial conditions, including outdoors.
- The software allows you to export clean and accurate datasets to PolyWorks®, Geomagic®, Cyclone®, RealWorks® and other processing applications.
- Easy to set up and move, fits in a carry-on sized case approved for most domestic airlines.
- Optional built-in scan controller and spare battery adapter - can work for long periods away from the main power source and the computer.
- Controlled remotely from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
- Optional 60 megapixel equivalent color camera system with automatic color matching.
